first day in Oxnard

when I get around to it I will make aq post about the30 hr train ride I just survived WITH SKYLER, but in the meantime, this is wat i've been up to.
Our first day in Oxnard has been wonderful. We woke up at around eight and made eggs and fresh squeezed orange juice with Gma. Then Gma went to the doctor and Skyler watched TV and I mucked about downstairs. When Gma returned at long last, we went out to the beach. The skim board is in excellent condition and rode as good as ever, Skyler went back to the house after a while and brought back a couple of boogie boards for the two of us. We rode the waves until we were both shivering and then sprawled out on the sand. In true Skyler form, we could not lie out very long before a sand fight had erupted, it included crude shields/forts made out of a plastic table, a skim board, 3 chairs, 2 towels, and 2 boogie boards. My fort used one of those boogie boards wedged into the ground like a headstone and Skyler used all of the other objects. Then we had some leftover chicken for lunch with root beer floats.
Later we may teach Gma how to play cribbage ( a bit of the blind leading the blind), and join a game of volley ball being set up as I write.
Skyler has ben beside himself with his access to the TV. We can only guess, if there really was a clone of Skyler watching T.V beside him I doubt either of them would even notice each other.
